The scope of work includes installing two new foundations to perform a cut-in on the existing transmission Circuit 941 to interconnect with the new Miller Substation and FRP. As part of the work, Circuit 941 will be split into two circuits: Circuit 975, which will connect to the existing Normandy Substation, and Circuit 941, which will continue to the existing Brandy Branch Substation. The transmission portion of the work is anticipated to be performed by a foundation contractor, with a transmission subcontractor required to hold the outage on Circuit 941. The contractor responsible for the outage must be qualified to obtain a JEA hold tag and operate breakers to safely perform the outage in accordance with the specifications and Appendix A. The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary to complete the work in accordance with the construction plans and specifications, including coordinating the pickup, inspection, receipt, unloading, and installation of JEA-supplied materials at the job site in alignment with the anticipated delivery schedule.

The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials necessary to install structural steel supports, metering panels, junction boxes, metering combo units, and metering relay panels, along with associated grounding, conduit systems, and AC/DC control cabling. The work generally consists of mobilization, installation of foundations and grounding systems, placement of conduits and structures, installation of 26 kV equipment and associated components, pulling and terminating cables between yard equipment and control house panels, coordination with Owner personnel for wiring, testing, and commissioning, and completion of site cleanup, inspections, and punch list items prior to demobilization.
