JEA Issues Precautionary Boil Water Advisory

JACKSONVILLE – JEA has issued a precautionary Boil Water Advisory for more than 25,000 customers in the South Philips Highway and Nocatee area after a water main break near Greenland Road. Due to the location of the water main break, there is low water pressure on JEA’s water system. Therefore, JEA is encouraging all customers to conserve water.

Crews are repairing the water main break on Philips Highway as quickly and safely as possible. JEA will directly contact impacted customers by phone, email and/ or text with specific information and updates.

Impacted customers are advised to bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before drinking, food preparation, brushing teeth or cooking.
